Trader Voice Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Trader Voice Engineer to join a large financial firm local to the New York region. In this role, the individual will collaborate and work very closely with traders, trading technology teams, network engineering, and cybersecurity. In this role, you will be providing L2/L3 support for the firm. Some job responsibilities will include managing voice systems, working with telecommunication protocols such as (SIP, QSIG) and experience with CUCM (cisco unified call manager). Lastly, you will be working closely with 3rd party vendors to ensure everything is operating up to standard. Responsibilities tied to this role will include:
Designing and supporting trader voice platforms
Ensuring high availability and resilience
Voice infrastructure engineering
Regulatory and compliance support
Production support
Collaboration

3+ years of recent years in voice engineering, supporting trader voice environments
Strong desktop engineering background
Strong experience supporting & troubleshooting Citrix VDI
Strong knowledge of VoIP / SIP / RTP
Strong experience with IPC / NICE / Cisco / Avaya turret solutions

Recent experience developing automation scripts using Python & with python libraries: tinytag, voodoo, Socketio, Pywinauto
