Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Systems Analyst to join the Engineering Management Administrative & IT Support team at one of our largest utility clients in NYC. This role blends systems support, light development, scripting, and workflow automation. It is not a senior developer role; instead, it is ideal for someone with foundational programming experience (1-2 years) who wants to build automation solutions, learn new tools, and grow into application development.

The ideal candidate is a logical problem solver, eager to learn, comfortable working cross functionally, and capable of improving productivity through automation.

In this role, the Systems Analyst will build automation scripts and workflow solutions to streamline operational processes using tools like PowerShell, SQL, SharePoint Online, and PowerApps. They will support SharePoint Online migration efforts, manage the Adept document management system, and develop low code automation or integration solutions within these platforms. Day to day work includes writing and running SQL queries, troubleshooting desktop, application, and system issues, and handling user support tickets related to SharePoint, Adept, PowerApps, and internal applications. The analyst will also coordinate with development teams, desktop support, vendors, and IT partners to resolve issues efficiently. Additionally, they will take ownership of assigned automation and application support projects from start to finish, delivering one off solutions designed to enhance productivity before moving on to the next initiative.
