Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Product Control Associate to join one of their financial services clients in Midtown, New York City. The Product Control Associate will oversee risk management across the platform by concentrating on 3 key areas: strategic support, platform enhancement, and operational risk management (ORM). A critical aspect of ORM is ensuring the platform completes all required regulatory filings accurately and on time for global regulators such as the SEC, CFTC, CIMA, ESMA, and the U.S. Treasury. While regulatory reporting compliance will be a primary focus of this role, responsibilities also extend to other core initiatives within the Product Control team, including SOX and SOC1 compliance, oversight of the firms’ critical service providers, and broader platform improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:
•Manage regulatory reporting for 1,000+ annual filings to global regulators (e.g., SEC, CFTC, CIMA, ESMA, U.S. Treasury), including Form PF, CPO-PQR, Annex IV, and others.
•Support new fund launches with regulatory assessments and fee analysis.
•Assist with filings such as Form ADV RAUM and AIFMD disclosures.
•Lead strategic initiatives to streamline reporting and mitigate risk using technology and service providers.
•Analyze new regulatory guidance and oversee implementation projects.
•Collaborate with internal teams across accounting, legal, compliance, and operations.
•Drive data governance and legal entity management for accurate, centralized reporting.
•Oversee service provider due diligence and annual reviews.
•Manage SOC1 and SOX compliance, including control testing and audit coordination.

Required Skills & Experience

•3+ years’ experience in public accounting or private fund accounting
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
•Strong project management skills and ability to lead projects independently
•Strong proficiency in excel
•Familiarity with private equity, hedge fund and/or fund of hedge fund investing
•Familiarity with regulatory filings including Form PF, CPO-PQR, Annex IV, etc.
