Job Description

We are seeking a Digital Analytics Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of analytics initiatives for our enterprise-level news organization. This role is pivotal in enabling data-driven decision-making by ensuring accurate tagging and tracking across customer-facing webpages. The ideal candidate will collaborate with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that drive engagement and optimize content performance.

Key responsibilities include:
- Product Ownership: Define and manage the roadmap for digital analytics tools and tagging frameworks to support business objectives.
- Data Tagging & Governance: Partner with analysts to implement and maintain robust tagging strategies for customer-facing pages, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, stakeholders, and leadership teams to align analytics capabilities with business needs.
- Stakeholder Enablement: Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for editorial, marketing, and product teams to improve audience engagement and page performance.
- Performance Monitoring: Oversee dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs, identify trends, and recommend optimizations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry best practices in digital analytics, data privacy, and emerging technologies to enhance our analytics ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ YOE in related field
- Experience with digital analytics from customer facing webpages
- Adobe – or any analytics tagging tools like google
- Experience with third party tool implementation
- Experience with Mparticle
- Experience working crossfunctionally with Development teams and stakeholders
