Job Description
Insight Globals client is seeking to hire a Principal SAP Solutions Expert to work onsite at an aerospace and defense client. This SAP resource will be responsible for determining integrated system design of required business scenarios and processes with particular focus on costing and management controlling. With their C2R expertise they will collaborate in the development and articulation of strong value propositions for transformational initiatives – from process SME and S/4HANA perspectives.
• Apply strong knowledge of the business processes for developing and testing ERP functions associated with business operations.
• Facilitate Explore workshops (solution architecting, requirements gathering) with business managers, client staff, and end-users to determine business and functional requirements
• Review and/or perform design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA systems to meet client business requirements
• Provide functional specifications for any required development.
• Participate and assist in high level planning.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices
• Provide leadership to junior systems analysts and client personnel assigned to projects
pay range: $74-80/hr

Required Skills & Experience
• Aerospace and defense / discrete manufacturing experience.
• Experience as a Value Stream Lead involving a US deployment of an SAP S/4HANA global design with localization in US geography.
• Specific SAP component configuration and deployment experience
• Familiarity with SAP Roadmap for respective Value Stream
• Identify relevant ‘blind spots’ and provide targeted PoV/recommendations to mitigate – this includes addressing impact of items on SAP’s simplification list
• 5+ years prior professional consulting or equivalent business process industry experience
• 5+ years of hands-on systems configuration experience within your given SAP component
• Successful completion of at least 3 full life cycle implementations of S/4HANA v2019 or later
• Successful completion of the rollout and localization of a global template
• Willingness to travel as needed to client locations
