Job Description
Insight Global's financial services client is looking for an experienced Production Support Engineer join their team in NYC. This role involves managing communications with internal and external clients, providing clear, proactive updates and setting expectations through to resolution. The candidate will troubleshoot complex technical issues, including application logs, FIX protocol, and client connectivity, while supporting scheduled jobs via Autosys and Cron. The ideal candidate will have experience with Unix/Linux and Windows, scripting in Python or Shell, and a strong understanding of networking and financial instruments like Fixed Income, Equities, or FX. Familiarity with software release tools, source code repositories, and ticketing systems like JIRA is highly desirable.

Required Skills & Experience
-7+ years of experience as a Production Support Engineer supporting electronic trading applications
-Strong experience with Linux/Unix
-Good scripting ability with Python, PowerShell, or Unix
-Experience with FIX Protocol
-Experience with monitoring tools

-Fixed Income support experience
