Your Opportunity
As a key member of our team, you’ll lead and support a variety of transportation projects that make a real impact:
Lead transportation planning studies, traffic impact analyses, and safety assessments
Contribute to Environmental Impact Assessments and Planning and Environmental Linkages studies
Design and oversee traffic data collection and analysis
Collaborate with roadway and structural engineers on iterative design processes
Ensure quality and consistency through QA/QC reviews
Manage project budgets and client communications
Present technical concepts at public meetings and support stakeholder engagement
Coordinate modeling efforts and integrate results into planning recommendations
Prepare technical reports, memoranda, and presentations
Support business development through proposal writing and interviews

Required Skills & Experience
About You
You’re passionate about creating safe, efficient, and equitable transportation systems. You bring:
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
PE license (preferably in NY, NJ, or CT); PTOE and/or RSP certifications are a plus
Strong understanding of transportation planning and traffic engineering principles
Familiarity with NEPA guidelines and regional standards (NY, NJ, CT)
Proficiency in Synchro, HCS, and standard business software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with VISSIM, ArcGIS, or Adobe Illustrator is a bonus
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings for diverse audiences
Proven leadership and ability to manage interdisciplinary teams
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
