Job Description
Insight Global is hiring an experienced M365 Engineer to join the Workplace Applications Engineering team at a leading financial institution. This team drives innovation in communication and collaboration technologies. In this role, you will manage Microsoft 365 environments by applying the latest policies, configurations, and features to ensure optimal functionality, security, and system health. You will design, engineer, and implement solutions in collaboration with global cross-functional teams. During incidents, you will provide support and act as an escalation point for first- and second-level support teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and clearly communicating changes within the environment.
The ideal candidate has over 7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business. They possess a strong understanding of M365 operations and architecture, and can effectively support and optimize these platforms. In addition to core M365 expertise, the candidate should demonstrate proficiency in at least one of the following areas: Microsoft Copilot, collaboration platforms, monitoring, or automation. Experience working with global, cross-functional teams and the ability to document and execute operational solutions are essential.

Required Skills & Experience
-7+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 services in an enterprise environment
-PowerShell scripting
-Experience with setup, administration, migration and integration of one or more core Microsoft 365 services (Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business)
-Strong communication skills, transparency, and ownership
-Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and projects
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Microsoft 365 implementation and management
-Microsoft 365 Collaboration platform management experience (OneDrive, SharePoint Online and Teams)
-Experience with system automation with PowerShell and Graph API.
