Job Description
We’re looking for a hands-on Controls Engineer who can hit the ground running — someone who understands how to troubleshoot logic, interpret PLC code, and support a machining-heavy production floor. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational PLC experience who are eager to grow with a Fortune 100 company.
Troubleshooting & Support (50%)
• Respond to carry-over issues from previous shifts or help with maintenance breakdowns
• Diagnose equipment downtime and assist with recovery
• Plug into PLCs, read logic, and identify root causes
• Collaborate with operators and maintenance to restore functionality
Project Work (50%)
• Support corrective action plans and process improvements
• Participate in meetings and offline programming tasks
• Design drawings and contribute to automation upgrades
• Work both on the floor and at your desk depending on project phase

Required Skills & Experience
- HS diploma or bachelors degree
- 2+ years of experience with industrial control systems
- Proficient interpreting PLCs and HMI programming
- Experience coming from a manufacturing/production plant or a machine building company (experience writing programs for machines, etc.)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- General knowledge of how to troubleshoot robotics (highly preferred)
