This person will be working within a lab environment dedicated to AI robotics research. They will be working closely with a simulation research team to pull data from real-word robotics into a simulated experience to study AI and Machine Learning.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
Building a new platform for data annotators to utilize in order to collect info form multiple apps across the simulated environment
Responsible for taking pipeline data and integrating into simulation code.
Debugging and refactoring Python code for lab use.
Writing and conducting Unit tests.
Review source code/conduct code reviews.
Scrapping up prototypes for demos and launching for platform builds on short notice (quick turnaround time).

Bachelors degree in computer engineering, Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience coding Python web services and distributed data storage
AWS experience
Experience working within a simulation environment and a proven understanding of the architecture/design, interacting with APIs, and task assignment.
Experience with C++, or coding python in a mixed Python/C++ environment.
Experience with code reviews, unit testing, and object orient programming.
