Job Description

The Business Engagement Specialist (Contractor) is a member of the Business Engagement Team and
reports to the Business Engagement Manager. This role focuses on assisting and supporting all of the
activities of the Business Engagement Team to facilitate, communicate, engage and promote the
technology tools and services that the Firm offers and help improve collaboration and client service
within the Firm. Duties include the below:

-Assist in the creative process and content development for the production and maintenance of presentations, communications, announcements and other digital content for events that help facilitate and promote technology tools and services.
-Author and edit scripts for video content related to Firm technology.
-Gather, assign and organize communication elements for the production of Tech videos, which may include scripts, storyboards, b-roll and images.
-Organize and support internal tech events such as town halls, marketplaces, and tech tune-ups.
-Author and curate content on Connect and other internal communication channels.
-Proactively identify opportunities to help engage, promote and support the Firm through the tools and services that the Firm provides.
-Develop and execute communication plans for Tech projects.
-Continually strive to develop a better understanding of the business and business needs.
-Facilitate and improve the understanding of the business within Technology and improve the effectiveness of communication within Technology and with the business.
-Identify and act upon opportunities for continuous improvement.
-Demonstrate the value of the Technology.
-Identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
-Perform other duties as required by the needs of Technology management and the Firm.
-Maintain a professional demeanor at all times and follow the Technology Guiding Principles.
-Participate in meetings related to the activities of the IT department or related projects, when requested.
-Remain flexible with shift hours and lunchtime based upon the needs of the group.
-Uphold Firm and departmental rules and procedures.
-Stay up to date with industry trends and other self-improvement opportunities by attending seminars, etc.
-Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing related professional publications.
-Work closely with the Technology trainers and Digital Production team to create digital content.
-Work closely with Firm leadership and other subject matter experts to identify opportunities for the creation of digital content and materials for other communications channels.

Required Skills & Experience

-Thorough knowledge of IT systems, communication, and service management as acquired through a bachelor's degree in communications, technology, marketing or business administration or, equivalent work experience.
-3-5+ years of experience scripting and leading the production of digital content.
-Thorough knowledge in various aspects of multimedia communications.
-Awareness of emerging trends in these fields to provide current, impactful and engaging content for the Firm.
-Aptitude for maintaining a visual story and brand awareness in all assigned tasks.
-Strong writing skills and experience creating and executing communications plans.
-Knowledge of web design tools and techniques, specific knowledge and experience of designing SharePoint web-content would be advantageous.
-Able to travel or work overtime, is required.
