A large Global Pharmaceutical customer is looking for an SAP Dangerous Goods (DG) consultant to support their project team. This person will be responsible for bringing the SAP Master Data (MD) module to the fullest potential for the business. They will assist with configuration and guiding the current team to understand SAP DG Master module, the information/data required for the different fields, and the integration of the DG Master data to other processes both within SAP and external. They will be populating data fields using information from a DG Info spreadsheet and/or from Safety Data Sheets (SDS) prepared on an external platform.
The DG Consultant must have a clear understanding of the DGP1/DGP2/DGP3 transactions. This is a global project for which they will be responsible. They must have a clear understanding and working knowledge of international and global DG regulations and downstream impacts of the DG Master transactions within SAP. The consultant must also be familiar with all modes of transportation (ie. Air, Ocean & Ground). This is a remote opportunity working (preferably) EDT/CDT hours

3+ Years of Detailed Experience with Dangerous Goods (DG) Master Module [DGP1/DGP2] in SAP (REQUIRED)
3+ Years of experience classifying and applying international and country specific Dangerous Goods regulations
Understanding of impacts of DG Master on downstream applications/transactions/processes within SAP
Motivated self-starter who shows initiative
