A global banking company is looking to hire several Risk Consultants to assist with their ERM strategy. The candidate will lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive risk frameworks from scratch, ensuring robust risk oversight. They will collaborate with various teams to document and assess risk appetite, develop innovative risk assessment methodologies, and maintain accurate risk inventories. They will also assist in designing frameworks and policies for effective risk oversight, establishing key risk indicators, and developing reporting mechanisms. Monitoring risk trends, analyzing data, and tracking mitigation strategies are key responsibilities. Strong communication skills are essential for partnering with departments, fostering a risk-aware culture, and clearly conveying risk findings to stakeholders.

5+ years of experience in a risk-focused role within the financial services industry
Strong understanding of all core risk concepts such as: risk appetite, risk ID, CCAR, concentration risk, second line oversight, challenge frameworks, inherent vs. residual risk, etc.
Demonstrated experience leading the process of building risk frameworks
Experience working in a risk-role at a GSIB organization
