Job Description
A global banking client is looking to hire a Sr. Product Designer (UI/UX) in New York City. The role involves creating user-centered experiences and interfaces that enhance end-to-end user journeys. Responsibilities include developing design specifications to improve the functionality of user interfaces, using design tools to create storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, and user journey maps for demonstrations and testing. The designer will produce high-fidelity designs for implementation by development teams, analyze user research and business insights to continuously improve customer experiences, review proposed product changes for compliance with user experience standards, and suggest improvements. Additionally, the role includes creating and maintaining UI/UX resources such as content templates, samples, and guidelines to streamline the design process for designers and developers.

Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a UI/UX designer, with at least 3+ years in the financial services space
- Has expert knowledge of Figma
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies, research, and processes
- Strong communicator with a passion for teamwide process improvement
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience working on e-commerce products
- Demonstrated experience educating peers on Figma best practices
