This role involves developing and implementing a global sourcing strategy, managing supplier relationships, and mitigating supply chain risks. You'll lead, recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing global team of 18-25 supply chain professionals to support product development, ensure efficient procurement, and continuously improve processes. You will communicate and drive the strategic plan, goals, objectives, and KPIs across the team, ensuring alignment and understanding. Regularly reviewing and assessing performance metrics, you will take proactive measures to achieve department and organizational goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement global sourcing strategy; support S&OP integration; drive improvement initiatives.
Execute sourcing and risk mitigation strategies; onboard high-quality suppliers; manage internal stakeholder relationships.
Identify and assess risks; implement risk mitigation strategies; collaborate cross-functionally.
Lead component engineering and NPI functions; manage item lifecycle; maximize part standardization.
Build and maintain supplier relationships; drive supplier development and cost-out initiatives.
Oversee procurement activities; enhance procure-to-pay processes with stakeholders.
Develop and mentor global team; foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Establish and monitor KPIs; evaluate performance and implement corrective actions; report to management.

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or similar field; equivalent experience considered.
10+ years in global sourcing or procurement; 5+ years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of sourcing and procurement principles, negotiation methods, and contract management.
Proven ability to achieve cost savings and improve processes through effective sourcing.
Skilled in building and managing strategic relationships with global suppliers.
Ability to assess data, draw insights, and make independent decisions.
Familiar with contract terms and conditions.
Knowledge of Bills of Materials, manufacturing processes, and tools like ERP systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
Willing to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%) to meet suppliers and attend events.
