A large pharmaceutical client is looking for an IT-focused technical writer to join the team and sit remotely (working east coast hours). This individual will be responsible for assisting the Quality Systems team as they continue to add new and upgrade systems. This individual should have experience technical writing in an operations, applications, and IT infrastructure space and have experience understanding policies and procedures in a GMP/ GxP environment. This person will be the only technical writer joining the team and will be responsible for translating and writing the technical dialogue. Clear communication and attention to detail are required for this role since this person will communicate cross-functionally between the business stakeholders and other departments. Overall, this day to day will include creating SOPs, run books, change management documents, etc.

7+ years of experience as a technical writer within an IT infrastructure, application, and operations background
Pharma and GMP/ GxP background
Proficient in creating and writing SOPs
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Technical Writing, or related field
Experience with Adobe Sign
Experience with OpsTrakker
