A client is looking for an IT Leader to sit hybrid in Westchester County and remote. This person will be managing technical infrastructure and networking projects across 3 customers across the local area. Projects may include wireless network or infrastructure upgrades/replacements, VoIP implementations or upgrades, device replacement cycle projects, data center systems upgrades or refreshes, WAN installations, fiber projects, etc. Their responsibilities will include partnering with directors within the locations to discuss what projects need to be prioritized, come up with project plans, and allocate budgets. They will work directly with outside vendors for technical services and equipment procurement, as well as internal technicians at the districts who will be carrying out the technical work and Superintendents and technology executives to ensure quality and timely delivery for the customer. This person will be keeping projects on task using various tools, managing deliverables and timelines, and running meetings to present status, how to mitigate potential risks, and to give direction. This Project Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of technical support, and will have leadership responsibilities, along with project management responsibilities. They will make sure that along with project completion, business as usual tickets are also being prioritized and closed in a timely manner. This person will be managing projects and a team simultaneously, so they need to be organized and process-driven, with strong experience communicating cross-functionally with various teams. This person has to be comfortable with a rate of $45-50/hr based on experience.
