Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Analyst to join the Finance organization of a leading healthcare client in New York. This person will be responsible for managing and ensuring accurate and timely payroll tax compliance, reporting, and filings. They will provide oversight to tax analysts performing reconciliation and review of payroll tax filings, and prepare, review, and reconcile all payroll tax related forms for filing Federal, State, and local agencies where required. They will research and respond to notices from the IRS and other state and local agencies in a timely manner, work closely with the organizations tax service provider to ensure all taxes are paid timely and accurately, and work with the treasury department to coordinate funds availability and payment. They will also lead year-end PeopleSoft and Ceridian W2 and 1042 reconciliation, filing, and distribution process, provide subject matter expertise in resolving assigned Salesforce cases in accordance with SLAs, assist in system testing software upgrades for all tax updates, assist management with payroll metrics reporting, and assist the balancing and verification payroll cycles as needed. The successful candidate must possess an in-depth knowledge of payroll practices and policy, as well as the laws and regulations concerning payroll taxes, administration, deductions, and processing.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of payroll administration experience in an enterprise environment (30,000+ employees)
Working knowledge of Foreign National Tax, W2 reporting, Fed/State/Local regulations, in a multistate environment
Experience with PeopleSoft or similar payroll system
Advanced Excel experience
Bachelors degree

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CPA or CPP
Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft HCM
Experience with Windstar reporting for Foreign National
