Job Description

The consultant will engage with a defined list of business users to understand how our client operates today. Using their experience and knowledge of available technology in these fields, they will produce a detailed options paper with recommendations on possible approaches. These recommendations will then be reviewed and presented to Leadership, so a decision can be made and subsequently presented to the Board. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LMSfrom implementation and data migration to administrationand Continuing Legal Education (CLE) tracking in law firms. The candidate will provide an option paper exercise at the end of the consultancy service, which includes interviewing stakeholders, understanding requirements, and presenting options for LMS/CLE management. Daily duties include the below:

-Engage with stakeholders to understand existing learning processes, policies, and system configurations.
-Identify needs for the learning governance structure.
-Ensure compliance with CLE tracking requirements, reporting, and audit processes.
-Define the key administration roles required for Workday Learning and provide mapping recommendations.
-Work closely with HR, Compliance, and Learning teams to understand the current user experience.
-Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on LMS best practices.
-Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and company learning objectives.

Success in Role:
-Engage with business stakeholders to understand the requirements for Learning & Development (L&D) and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) tracking.
-Produce a document outlining requirements across different stakeholder groups.
-Create an options paper that presents different choices based on our requirements, legislative/compliance needs, and proposals on how to manage them within the existing technologies available.
-Present the options to the HR Leadership for agreement.
-Draft a Business Case (BC) based on the chosen option.

Required Skills & Experience

-Experience with learning and development systems within law firms, and more specifically with Workday LMS & CLE, (at least 3 implementations)
-Familiarity with the technology and vendors available in the CLE (Continuing Legal Education) industry, specifically CLE tracking requirements and experience in managing compliance training.
-Experience in LMS administration and implementation, preferably with Workday Learning.
-Experience with learning experience tools, content curation, and personalization features.
-Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, AICC, and LMS reporting/analytics.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Workday Learning certification(s).
-Experience integrating LMS with HRIS, Talent Management Systems, and CLE tracking platforms.
-Knowledge of data governance, security protocols, and user access management within an LMS.
-Experience working in corporate learning, HR, or compliance-driven environments is a plus.
