Job Description

One of Insight Globals top Financial Services clients within the Insurance Industry is looking for a Procurement Specialist to sit on site in Manhattan 3 days a week. Reporting into the VP of Vendor Management, this person will roll up into the CFO and support the procurement team. The procurement specialist will be responsible for sourcing vendors, handling RFPs, contract reviews and negotiations, evaluating vendors and risks associated with each vendor, price negotiations, and managing the contingent workforce process. This person will need to have 5 years of procurement experience within healthcare, technology, consulting, or professional services, with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience within procurement
- Background in consulting, professional services, or technology industry
- Hands on experience with contract reviews and negotiations
- Bachelors Degree
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with healthcare and insurance vendors
