Job Description

Our client, a rapidly growing, institutionally backed financial services firm specializing in structured finance and inventory-based lending solutions, is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join its dynamic and collaborative Finance team. In this role, youll be responsible for owning the general ledger, preparing and improving financial schedules and reconciliations, supporting month-end close, and working closely with internal teams and auditors. This is a high-impact role with exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to drive process improvements within a growing, well-backed financial services firm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with large datasets and complex transactions, possess a proactive and problem-solving mindset, and have strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of accounting experience with strong general ledger ownership and reconciliations
- CPA (or equivalent technical accounting expertise) and a Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Audit background, preferably from a Big 4 or national public accounting firm
- Advanced Excel skills for handling large datasets and complex analysis
- Proven ability to solve problems independently in high-volume environments
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or lean team settings

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with NetSuite
- Background in financial services, fintech, private equity, or fund accounting
- Prior experience in a startup or smaller company where wearing many hats is required
