Our client is known for offering services with a focus on outstanding quality, value added engineering and successful project outcomes. These services include engineering only and engineering/procurement/construction (EPC) services for high voltage powerlines and substations. As a Project Scheduler you will be supporting a local utility in its effort for storm hardening their systems. This includes programs related to undergrounding their distribution lines, rebuilding substations to meet flood zones, and similar. In this role you will be responsible for managing schedules that include resource allocation, asset management, labor hours and overall cost of projects. You will develop schedule and confirm everything with the individual work groups. As we move into construction, update on a weekly basis and sending out communication with narrative of email. This will include different views of schedules, remaining activities, analysis of schedule, adding activities and leadership decisions, notifying other managers of what is coming out. You will also be coordinating of resources onsite for activities and decisions that are made.

- 3+ years of project scheduling and/or controls experience
- Extensive experience in forecasting and schedules and use of scheduling tools such as Primavera (P6) or similar
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Excellent excel skills
- Understanding of project budget tracking, funding, authorization requests, change orders, etc.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
Experience running financial reports, reporting variances/accruals
