Job Description

One of Insight Globals Motor Vehicle Manufacturing clients is seeking a Title Specialist to join their team in Brookhaven, NY. This role involves assisting with the daily processing of vehicle titles. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of state and local title processing regulations and policies. Responsibilities include answering customer inquiries, maintaining file documentation, updating customers on the status of their files, and ensuring accurate records of vehicle titling in accordance with company guidelines.
Day to day:
Efficiently and accurately identify/analyze vehicle title/ownership documents within company guidelines.
Process vehicle titles in accordance with state guidelines.
Research missing and/or incorrect title paperwork and determine proper resolve in a timely manner.
Communicate with customers via email or verbally to handle title issues daily.
Build relationships and develop a professional rapport with DMV and sellers.
Maintain title bin filing, as necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

Required Skills:
Computer proficiency (MS Office Word / Suite).
Typing speed 45 words per minute and basic 10 Key proficiency.
Excellent customer service skills and attitude.
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
Must be able to multi-task, work independently, meet time sensitive deadlines.
Must be able to view a computer screen for a significant portion of the workday.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Numeric and alphabetic filing skills.
Occasional overtime as needed.
Must Haves:
1-2 years of customer service experience.
1-2 years of vehicle title processing experience.
HS diploma.
Experience processing a minimum of 40 titles per day

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Notary license.
Bilingual.
Title knowledge of local and surrounding states
