A large Pharmaceutical client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join their dynamic IT Digital Manufacturing team. In this role, the BA will support the implementation of cutting-edge manufacturing applications that leverage AI and machine learning technologies on the shop floor. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, gather requirements, and ensure that solutions align with their strategic objectives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality. The Business Analyst will perform on site activities such as workshops and trainings to increase adoption and gather feedback. The BA will be required to onsite 2-3 days per week in their Puurs Belgium location.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and IT teams, to elicit and document business requirements related to AI and machine learning applications.
Data Analysis: Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Utilize data visualization tools to present findings and recommendations.
Solution Design: Work closely with our UX/UI design team and Development team to translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring the design meets user needs and compliance regulations.
Project Management: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of implementation projects. Support project managers in tracking progress and addressing any roadblocks.
User Training and Support: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure successful adoption of new applications. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed.
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment and clarity throughout the project lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of solutions, gather user feedback, and recommend enhancements.

6+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing industries.
Preferably dutch-speaking, on site presence in Puurs site, Belgium is required 2-3 days a week.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and familiarity with AI and machine learning applications in a production environment.
Experience interpreting complex data and making data-driven decisions in previous recent BA positions, excellent analytical skills required
Proficient in project management methodologies and tools; experience with Agile methodologies
Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., FDA, cGMP) is preferred.
Bachelors degree in business administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
Familiarity with data visualization tools and project management software is a plus.
