Job Description

A large pharmaceutical client is looking for a QA Consultant to join the team in Rensselaer, NY. This person will support the raw materials team in various areas such as the release of raw materials, making sure documentation is accurate, redlining documentation as well as updating documents. This person will also be responsible for onboarding new materials and doing material qualification. This person would ideally come from a laboratory or manufacturing background, as well as have advanced computer/Excel skills. They must be able to communicate cross-functionally and have an overall drive to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 3 years of overall work experience
Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry
GDP (good documentation practices) background
Strong excel skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data
Science background in one of the following: chemistry, biology, molecular biology, biochemistry

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience working on a raw materials team in the pharmaceutical industry
- Lab or manufacturing backround
