Auto CAD Draftsman

Insight Global is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter to join one of our largest Pharmaceutical clients 5x/week onsite in Rensselaer, NY. This individual will be joining the Engineering Support team which deals with the build out and walk downs of facilities on campus. They will be brought in to assist with day-to-day operations. Engineers perform routine inspections of various facilities which entails site walk downs where certain areas will be redlined. Following the site walk downs, this individual will be expected to follow up on redlined items, work cross functionally with the engineers on any necessary clarifications on redlines, and create solutions accordingly. They will be expected to be well versed in 2D but not 3D Auto CAD drafting. This team is looking for a self-starter who is comfortable and confident voicing any questions to partnering teams.

- 2-3 recent years of Auto CAD experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite (teams, outlook, etc.)
- PNIB (piping and instrumentation diagram) and X-REF experience
- Ability to work cross-functionally, self starter attitude

- Experience working within the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience working off Redline drawings
