Insight global is searching for a Head of Compliance Technology. In this role, you will lead a team of technology professionals responsible for the critical data and technology functions that power the companies compliance and AML/BSA/Sanctions program. As a compliance technology executive, you will be responsible for the design and execution of the compliance technology program, the development and tuning of transaction monitoring scenarios, development and tuning of customer risk scoring methodologies, enhancement of sanctions screening controls, development of management reports and dashboards, and other critical components/development of the compliance program that may arise from time to time. They should have experience to manage a team responsible for the development and maintenance of the transaction monitoring system, including data ingestion, development of new transaction monitoring scenarios, and optimization of transaction monitoring scenarios. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between the Compliance team along the Engineering organization and have frequent conversations with senior management, regulators, third party vendors/auditors, and multiple departments within the organization. This person must have a demonstrated success managing multiple technology initiatives in a fast-paced environment. The Head of Compliance Technology reports directly to the firms Chief Compliance Officer.

- 12 + years of experience working compliance technology & data analysis with an enterprise financial environment or digital assets
- Strong understanding of regulatory and industry standards in relation to AML, BSA, Sanction regulations, NYDFS Part 504 Requirements
- Must have advanced skills using Python and SQL to build real time data and reporting for scalable solutions
- Experience utilizing Databricks and Pyspark
- 5 + years of people management experience leading teams internationally
- Work with transaction monitoring systems and tools, data ingestion and leading development of new transaction scenarios
- Experience with Quality control of work from both the compliance and engineering teams
- A completed four year degree
- Experience working in blockchain or blockchain concepts
- Experience working in a startup environment or smaller organization
