Job Description

Salary Range: $94,020.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Objective:
Insight Global is seeking several Assistant Project Managers to support the Project Manager in building and maintaining positive client relationships and aims to achieve the project schedule, budget, and quality requirements. This is a full-time, in-person position. APM role is predominantly office-based, with a focus on administrative tasks. The APM role is more client-facing than the Superintendent role and involves reporting to managers while conveying project status to clients.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in or lead project-specific marketing, proposal preparation, and presentations for successful project selection.
- Develop and manage the project execution plan.
- Oversee all project activities, including scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, coordination, manpower, procurement, and risk elements.
- Establish a contractor-client liaison network to keep interested parties informed of project planning, start dates, work progress, and budget updates.
- Conduct regularly scheduled project progress meetings to review team performance and ensure client expectations are met.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree: Building construction, engineering, architecture, facilities management, or a related field.
Experience:
8 years of full-time experience in construction and design-related fields with a degree, or 12 years of experience without a degree.
At least 4 years of experience managing all phases of construction work on multiple contracts.
Skills:
Exceptional technical and project management skills related to planning, design, and construction processes.
Ability to achieve project objectives and manage competing demands on multiple client projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenges independently.
Proficiency in managing meetings, presenting data, and participating in interviews.
Experience managing MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and all phases of construction.
Experience in new, rehab, and modern construction.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- New York City Agency experience is a plus.
