Insight Global's client is seeking to hire a full-time, on-site Office Receptionist for their midtown Manhattan office. This is a temp-to-perm position, working Monday through Friday.
The Office Receptionist will be responsible for providing support across the office, including handling the front desk and reception area. They will coordinate all reception activities and serve as the first point of contact for external parties. This is a key role that requires direct interaction with management and all company departments. The ideal candidate will have a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with people. They should be able to multitask effectively and have a friendly, outgoing personality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet and direct visitors upon verifying their credentials
Assist employees with building access and general reception inquiries
Arrange for temporary access passes as needed
Coordinate day-to-day front desk operations
Act as the first point of contact for incoming external calls and office visitors
Coordinate office equipment requests and office supply orders for all departments
Order and stock the office pantry and supply closet
Manage incoming and outgoing company mail
Coordinate office project activities with the Head of Office and external contractors
Responsible for coordination of service calls with copy/print machines and other office equipment
Liaise with the IT team on hardware-related matters
Assist with facilities and support for company training sessions
Maintain and develop checklists for position responsibilities
