Insight Global is looking for a Python Developer to join one of our largest financial clients in Manhattan. This role will be required to sit onsite 2x a week. This individual will be joining the Data Engineering team that is responsible for building the enterprise data platform. This platform gets data from a variety of sources across the bank, ingests them, and then is used by economists around the nation to do data analysis that goes into the banks critical decision making. In addition, this bank is going through a cloud migration to modernize their architecture and move all applications onto AWS. Thus, this person will be responsible for developing the applications ingesting the data within their cloud environment. It is imperative that this person has strong experience utilizing, Python, PySpark and Databricks within an AWS environment.

8+ years of hands-on development experience with Python and PySpark
5+ years of experience using Databricks for data processing
Experience working within large cloud environments, specifically AWS
Strong communication skills
