Job Description

The leading digital payment company that supports online money transfers across the globe is looking for a Risk Analyst to join the Global AI Machine Learning and Risk Management team. This team is currently building an enterprise AI risk management platform to meet AI regulatory and internal governance requirements, which includes, AI inventory management, AI Risk Management throughout the lifecycle including initiation, development, validation, deployment, monitoring, change management, retirement.



As a Risk Analyst, you are responsible for performing third-party AI risk assessment while following and understanding evolving AI regulatory requirements, as well as collaborating with SME's to ensure third-party AI uses globally are properly recorded and the associated AI risks are assessed and mitigated. The System will be delivered in a phased approach including, but not limited to, architecture design, global AI inventory creation and maintenance including existing AI model inventory conversion, AI model governance functions (e.g., model submission, model approval, AI use case assessment and approval including but not limited to data and privacy, security, intellectual property), and tracking and reporting functions.



Responsibilities Include:

-Focus on third-party AI inventory creation, AI risk assessment, and system integration

-Collaborate with third parties and cross-functional teams to collect and document AI use cases that would enable adequate risk assessment to meet regulatory requirements (e.g., identify and report prohibited and high-risk AI use cases meeting regulatory risk level definitions)

-Draft the third-party AI governance guideline or procedure including how to address AI inquiries from regulators, customers, and auditors

-Conduct thorough gap analysis and propose optimal scalable solution by effectively leveraging existing resources (including available platforms, systems, SMEs) and minimize redundant work

-Initiate and drive necessary meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper communication and alignment on the functions (including, but not limited to, GUI design, logic flow of the governance requirements such as review and approval process) of the System and propose optimal solutions

-Test during and post system development to ensure the System functions are integrated well and work as intended, document all tests and outcomes, critical decisions made by stakeholders and rationale

-Ensure any bugs or potential design/scalability issues identified during development and testing phases communicated timely to all relevant stakeholders and documented, and assist engineers and product managers to resolve timely

-Manage the project proactively and play pivotal role in timely delivery

Required Skills & Experience

-4+ years' experience with third-party AI model risk management and knowledge of Generative AI

-Experience building global enterprise systems or applications

-Ability to evaluate third-party vendors to understand risks associated and requirements necessary to manage risk

-Strong technical writing experience

-Understanding of machine learning features, data, and model risk management throughout the lifecycle and regulatory governance requirements.

-Knowledge of the latest advancements in the field of regulatory changes, translate, and convert them to actions applicable to company standards

-Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively present business goals, gaps, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

-Ability to build strong relationships and work proactively to deliver end-to-end results

-Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, or similar.

Master's Degree in related field
