A 2000+ employee Human Services nonprofit based in New York is looking for Teaching Assistants and Teaching Aids for its schools in Brooklyn and Queens. The Teaching Assistants will play a critical role in fostering the development of children under 5 with special needs by ensuring each individual is given the attention and instruction necessary for their growth. They will report to the Educational director and work in tandem with the Special Education Teachers to coordinate lesson plans, rounds, and student progress. Responsibilities include assisting with instruction, classroom function, and monitoring the children. They will also participate in school and staff development meetings.
