Job Description

An employer is looking for a User Support Technician for our client, a financial sciences firm, based in Soho, Manhattan. This person will be joining the end user technology deployment team who are responsible for supporting the 1,800+ users based in their NYC HQ. Daily responsibilities will include:

-Taking trouble tickets and troubleshooting and resolving issues related to desktop/laptop and peripheral hardware only

-Install/remove hardware as well as build out new workstations and equipment across the environment

-Support users and provide documentation

-Support ongoing projects such as moves, installs, and roll outs

Required Skills & Experience

-3+ years of solid desktop support experience

-Experience running a project or other lead type of responsibilities

-Strong hardware support experience

-Experience imaging, re-building hardware

-Analytical troubleshooting skills

-General knowledge of IP connectivity and networking protocols, active directory etc.

-Experience working in enterprise/fast paced environment

-Ability to take direction and work independently

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-ITIL Experience (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
