Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Data Analyst to work part time (20 hours per week) to join the Management Information team within the Finance department within one of the top museums in New York City and globally. This role will be responsible for museum-wide reporting focused on attendance and revenue, with an emphasis on data management and data quality. They will work with various Museum departments (Visitor Engagement, Accounting, Membership, Information Technology, Audit, Retail, and Creative) to consolidate and accurately report on daily operations, activities, and projections. This role will be engaged in project-based analyses, root-cause analyses, and enabling data exploration through self-service dashboards. This individual will be responsible for data analysis utilizing tools such as SQL, Excel, Google Sheets, Salesforce and Looker. This individual must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to document processes. This individual will maintain and enhance the existing data pipelines in Data prep, and support daily validation of data written into data warehouse (GCP BigQuery). This individual should have a strong passion for data and data quality, use daily critical thinking skills, and have a self-sufficient work ethic.
Required Skills & Experience
* 3-5 Years of Data Analyst experience.
* SQL Querying skills - Writing queries from scratch, seeing and fixing duplicates, digging into inaccurate data.
* Google Sheets experience.
* Exposure to an ERP OR CRM tooling experience. (Salesforce)
* Looker Studio (Tableau would work as well) for dashboarding
* Advanced Excel experience (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
* Strong communication both verbal and written and passion for data.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Exposure to GCP Cloud.
* Alteryx, and Trifecta experience
