Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Healthcare Technology Development Manager for one of our clients who has established a global presence in the field of E-governance through innovative products, solutions and services across multiple domains. This position will be onsite in New Yok City, Monday through Friday.
As a Healthcare Technology Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of advancing technology solutions within our healthcare organization. Your strategic vision and roadmap expertise will drive innovation, improve patient care, and enhance operational efficiency. Your expertise in strategy, innovation, and roadmap creation will drive the successful implementation of cutting-edge solutions that enhance teaching, learning, and administrative processes.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning and Roadmap Development:
o Collaborate with executive leadership to define the long-term vision for healthcare technology.
o Create and maintain a strategic technology roadmap that aligns with healthcare goals and regulatory requirements.
o Identify emerging trends (such as telemedicine, data analytics, or interoperability) and incorporate them into the roadmap.
2. Healthcare Technology Solutions:
o Evaluate, select, and implement technology solutions that enhance clinical workflows, patient outcomes, and administrative processes.
o Ensure compliance with healthcare standards (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.).
3. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
o Engage with clinicians, nurses, IT teams, and external vendors to understand their technology needs.
o Communicate the roadmap's strategic goals and benefits to all stakeholders.
o Foster collaboration across departments to achieve alignment.
4. Project Management and Execution:
o Lead cross-functional teams in implementing technology projects.
o Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
o Monitor progress, address risks, and ensure successful project completion.
5. Data-Driven Decision Making:
o Analyze healthcare data to inform technology investments.
o Use insights to prioritize projects that improve patient care, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
6. Budget Management:
o Develop and manage the technology budget, balancing innovation with fiscal responsibility.
7. Change Management and Training:
o Facilitate change management during technology transitions.
o Provide training to healthcare staff on new systems and tools.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in healthcare technology management.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, roadmap creation, and successful technology implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
