Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an HR Office Assistant to join one of their dental clients located in the Financial District of Manhattan. We are looking for someone with working experience checking patients in and out of appointments, scheduling patients with different medical professionals, a strong sense of organization, charismatic personality, and ability to be onsite five days a week. This person should have the desire to grow within the practice and act as the main HR employee. Responsibilities include scheduling patients, organizing paperwork, handling clients, recruiting, problem solving and maintaining a cleanly work space.



Responsibilities:

- Manage the front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and allocating rooms.

- Handle billing to insurance for patients and oversee general insurance matters.

- Plan out the daily schedule, coordinating which assistant works with whom.

- Keep track of employees' vacation and sick time.

- Oversee HR matters, including recruiting, hiring, and firing staff as needed (note that intense recruiting is not a regular requirement).

Although not directly responsible for payroll, experience with Sage is considered an asset.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience working in a front desk operational type of role

- Previous experience dealing with insurance and checking patients in and out of appointments

- Experience with managing schedules for all medical professionals and patients

- Experience handling general insurance matters

- Past experience managing employees vacation and sick time

- Experience overseeing HR matters, including recruiting, hiring, and firing staff as needed (note that recruiting is as needed, not frequent)

- Experience working with Dentrix, a dental practice management software
