Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Infrastructure Architect to join one of our largest financial clients in Manhattan, Pittsburgh, Nashville or Lake Mary as a member of the Technology Services Group and the Asset Management team within it. The bank is about to start updating and replacing the infrastructure that was implemented a few years ago. To do that, they are starting to build out a program that will help the maintain the current infrastructure as well as project when the servers and operating systems will become end of life. This will enable the users to create the models that will allow them to figure out what infrastructure needs to be upgraded or replaced. This person will work with engineering and operations teams to help create the strategy for updating the banks hardware, operating systems, networking/storage infrastructure and software. He/she will be responsible for designing and architecting the capabilities to enhance these processes and drive at what is needed to upgrade or replace the infrastructure across the bank.

Required Skills & Experience

-7+ years of experience working as an infrastructure architect
-Experience working with data infrastructure, system administration, or application development
-Experience in server, database, IT asset management lifecycle
-Use of SQL for querying

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience using Power BI or Tableau
-Experience working at a financial institution
