Job Description
A large financial client is looking for a UX designer to join their RIA Custody Services group. As a UX Designer, you will be leading the design of engaging and elegant digital experiences from transactional digital products to innovative marketing across web, desktop & mobile for a variety of businesses. Projects include designing customer-facing transactional apps, high-performance trading applications, and the firm's most visited content websites. In addition, youll have the opportunity to define the design system and be an advocate for user experience across the firm.

Our design team's expertise in user research, interaction design, and visual design allows us to partner with business and technology to create applications that are easy to use, engaging, and competitive differentiators.
Responsibilities
Collaborate and interact with product managers, and engineers to identify product opportunities and create compelling interfaces using the evolving design system
Undertake user research and synthesize insights to inform product roadmaps
Define user experience strategies for enhancing established and green-field products
Participate in product refinement and revision based on the outcome of user validation sessions and inputs & suggestions from the product team
Produce wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and production quality designs that effectively communicate design directions and detailed designs
Participate in UX-led initiatives including Accessibility and mobile-first design
Support the growth of your team members, with design reviews, career coaching, and mentoring
Required Skills & Experience
Basic Qualifications
8+ years industry experience in digital product design
Experience with mobile and web applications
Passion for solving complex, enterprise-scale problems
Experience working on platforms using an enterprise design system
Experience with Figma
Basic understanding of web standards, capabilities and best practices (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
Financial services experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Degree in Design, HCI, UX or a related field (B.Des, M.Des.)
Financial services a plus, but not required
