Metaverse Programs Community and Operations Manager IIl Contractor
Meta is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented program operations and community manager to build manage and nurture a healthy creator community. This candidate will join the Developer and Builder Programs team within the Metaverse Content Platform organization. The ideal candidate will support the ongoing 3P creator program i.e Meta Horizon Creator Program MHCP which supports creators to build high quality and engaging experiences in Horizon Worlds. You will continuously work on understanding and implementing the needs of the creator community to improve and drive business and product goals and a healthy community. In addition you will work cross-functionally with Content Product Support engineers Marketing etc to support this community of creators.
This is a U.S remote position with preference for a candidate in the East Coast time zone.
This is a 12 month fixed-term role with possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day community management activities and events hosting educational programming providing community updates/reporting project coordination budget tracking event logistics and following up on action items from the community members where and when applicable.
Foster a positive and inclusive community culture. Responsible for ensuring that discussions and interactions on the platform are respectful and constructive. You will also be tasked with resolving conflicts that may arise between users in a fair and impartial manner based on a set code of conduct aligning with relevant stakeholders and established member expectations for joining the community.
Create playbooks for successfully executed projects and properly refine and document project management processes and standards.
Develop and maintain strong XFN relationships with our internal and external partners and vendors to drive collaboration and achieve project goals while working with the creator community.
Minimum Qualifications
Technical development experience e.g BA/BS in Computer Science Game design Game Development or equivalent degree/experience.
4 years experience in engaging with developer or creator communities both online and offline.
Strong project management capabilities with a proven track record of on-time high quality delivery of complex projects in a large organization
Excellent organization prioritization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient in building and documenting workflows schedules and trackers
Experience working cross-functionally both internally and externally.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in game development developer advocacy developer relations or product evangelism or technical product community building
Keen attention to detail
Exemplary written and oral communication
Capacity to build and manage relationships with cross functional stakeholders and external vendors
Highly collaborative with the ability to thrive working across many cross-functional teams

Mastery of Excel Google Sheets and PowerPoint Google Slides and Asana Project Management Tool
