Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Trading Application Support Analyst to sit at one of our top financial services clients located in New York City. The IT Application Support team provides investment application support across all areas of the banks business, primarily supporting all trade flow and pricing of the banks investment positions, including overnight batch processing and collaboration with UK-based colleagues, and all associated applications used by the Front Office and other areas of the business (Middle Office, Risk, Performance, Client Reporting, etc) to manage the banks investment book. This role is user-facing and its purpose is to ensure that the day-to-day (BAU) IT needs of the business are met. The team deals with a wide variety of support issues and BAU planning activities, supporting a range of applications from 3rd party Front Office systems to bespoke order management and quantitative financial modelling platforms. The role also encompasses change management and development tasks across a number of the systems the bank supports.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience supporting fixed income products, including OTC Derivatives (All bonds, MBS, Converts, credit / rates derivs, GIC, CFD, etc).
- Experience supporting OMS, EMS, PMS, or trading systems (Charles River, Aladdin, etc.)
- Strong SQL skills, specifically having the ability to debug SQL scripts
- Previous experience providing support in a fast-paced, user-facing role.
- Proven track record supporting OMS/bespoke investment applications.
