Insight Global is looking for a qualified Service Technician to join one of our clients in the East Greenbush, NY area. the ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Responsible for general electro-mechanical troubleshooting of XOS benchtop analyzers. This individual will be expected to perform diagnostic investigations, troubleshoot electrical failures down to board level, as well as troubleshoot mechanical failures and make all needed repairs within a ten-day window.
* Responsible for documenting and detailing all repairs.
* Communicate with XOS technical support team throughout each diagnostic/repair cycle.
* Refurbish X-Ray engines. Perform diagnostics, beam replacement and beam alignments on these engines to bring them within service specification.
* Provide world class customer support for on-site installation, validation and commissioning of all XOS instruments
* Perform on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs of all XOS instruments
* Perform preventative maintenance service visits

* High School diploma or local equivalent (i.e., GED).
* Minimum of two (2) years of service technician experience.
* Previous experience in a mechanically-related field required.
