Job Description
A leading hospital system sitting on Long Island, NY is seeking an Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst to join their IT Pharmacy space. This individual will be responsible for the design, build, testing, implementation, and support of the Epic Willow Inpatient module and related pharmacy applications. You will work closely with pharmacists, clinicians, and other stakeholders to understand their workflows, needs, and challenges, and provide them with optimal solutions. You will also troubleshoot issues, perform system upgrades, and provide end-user training and documentation. Some main projects that this person will be supporting are the Bugsy implementation, IV Pump Integration, Hyperdrive & smaller pharmacy projects.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting Epic Willow inpatient build
- Knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations, medication management, and clinical decision support
- Experience with medication load, order sets, smart sets, smart forms, reports, interfaces, and integration with other Epic modules
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and travel as needed
- Epic Willow Certification
- Previously a pharmacist or experience working within a hospital pharmacy
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Epic Certified in Beacon, Bugsy or Willow Ambulatory
