Remote Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer (LatAm)

The need is for a Data Scientist/hands on ML engineer who is an expert in Python and Pyspark programming. Experience building their own custom models and deploying them using Python coding. This data scientist will build their model and pipe their code. This is for a warehouse optimization product, so it would be a plus to have experience with integrated business planning and category forecasting.



- If they did forecasting, what were they forecasting?

- Do they have experience with regression forecasting for inventory or for something revenue generating

- Understanding of pricing, pricing elasticity

- Remote Machine Learning Engineer, hands on coder who can do hands on work

- Someone who is expert level coding in Python and can come up with creative ideas to problem solve

5+ years as a Machine Learning Engineer

Must live in Latin America

Experience writing Python and PySpark code from scratch, doing data science coding (modeling), stats models, network models, ML models

Data modeling, data model monitoring, forecasting

Experience building pipelines and optimizing pipelines in an Azure environment using databricks/DBFS

Regression (not classification) Forecasting experience is a MUST

Experience in deploying productionize modeling

Strong with SQL

Warehouse optimization

Revenue management/IRI/RSI/Pricing elasticity
