Job Description

An Insight Global client in the document and data space is seeking a Remote Content Editor to support the compilation, editing, proofreading, and product delivery process for case law content for a state government. This job requires a detail-oriented and adaptive individual to follow the courts requirements for reporting structure and content for their law cases. This person will be responsible for updating and comparing existing documents, proofreading grammar and spelling, and tagging data in XML code. It is also required for the person to be technically adept and able to be trained XML code tagging. On a day to day basis, you will be looking at your preset task list and picking documents to proof and making comparisons from existing to newer documents. As you get more comfortable with the role, you will have more responsibilities added through cross-training. This is a 6-month contract with highly likely extension and probable conversion. Upon starting, there is a several month training via one on ones on a team of 19 others. The individual can sit anywhere in the U.S. but will be required to work PST for the majority of the role. Required Skills & Experience

- 1-2 years of professional working experience with reviewing, editing and/or tagging documents

- Strong English, writing and grammar experience with high attention to detail

- Technical competency with an ability to learn quickly in a Windows environment

- At least High School diploma

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Tagging data in XML/HTML code

- Journalism/English Bachelor's Degree

- Content editing/proofing experience
