A solar farm start-up client is looking for Senior Node.JS developer to join their team in NYC, NY. This person will refactor existing code but also provide recommendations on whether certain modules should be redone. This role will work primarily with integrating APIs and backend services but occasionally help out with some frontend work. This role will be working mainly with Node.JS but the right candidate should be comfortable providing direction and helping the team understand the implications of certain architectural choices. This person will also be assisting in the hiring and development of some front-end developers. This person should be very comfortable taking data coming from CSV format, building out testable units of code, and putting together customer platforms. An advanced level of knowledge of Node.JS is required as well as a strong grasp of APIs and how the work within the integration side.
