Job Description
The UX Writer will collaborate across the global organization to develop and deliver best-in-class copy and content design for our new streaming service, Max, as well as our legacy products. You'll be expected to work often autonomously, and in close collaboration with, partners in product design, product management, and a variety of stakeholders including product leadership, marketing, product expansion, and legal.
Responsibilities
Oversee content design and UX copy from inception to completion
Create clear, compelling, and error-free copy on deadline that meets brand voice, tone and digital product standards and guidelines
Collaborate to design and maintain language systems, design copy and button/CTA style, templates, mockups, user scenarios, flows and experience
Align work with overarching business and engagement goals to increase user satisfaction
Encourage optimal viewer and subscriber engagement through brand storytelling, utilizing tone, voice and stylized messaging
Partner with fellow UX writers, designers, data scientists and content strategists to create, evaluate and continuously refine innovative user experiences
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years experience in UX Writing or Copywriting
A portfolio with relevant writing samples
Strong copyediting skills
Ability to work both collaboratively with a team and autonomously as necessary
Positive attitude and adaptive style -- the ability to switch seamlessly from one project to the next with ease
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Excellent knowledge of style, American English spelling, grammar, punctuation and usage; international language skills a plus
Deep knowledge and experience writing for product environments
Fluent in branding, product functionality and user experience theory, practice and
language; strong visual thinking
Experience working in high-pressure environment under tight deadlines
Knowledge of emerging trends for digital products and cross-platform content
integrations
Streaming service or entertainment background
Friendly, outside-the-box thinking; creative problem-solving mastery
