Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Fire Alarm Service Technician that will be responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of fire alarm systems in industrial environments (power plants, oil & gas, marine, shipyard, military preferred). The Fire Alarm Technician plays a critical role in safeguarding lives and property by conducting thorough and detailed inspections, performing required maintenance and providing expert advice to valued customers.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–10+ years of true fire alarm or suppression technician experience
• NICET Level 1 or higher OR State Fire Alarm Tech License
• Background in industrial environments (power plants, oil & gas, marine, shipyard, military preferred)
• Comfortable being solo on site and trusted as the technical authority
• Willing to travel heavily (~90% travel, frequent overnight stays)
• Strong with high‑end fire alarm panels (Notifier, Potter, Siemens/EST – enterprise‑grade systems)
