Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Quality Control Manager to join one of their federal contracting clients in Los Alamos, NM. The individual will be vital part in ensuring all aspects of the project meet the required standards/safety protocols and will be supporting projects at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing QC programs, inspecting, and reviewing, monitoring materials, coordinating with stakeholders, documentation, training, develop and implement safety policies, conduct inspections, incident investigation, emergency planning, and equipment safety, and compliance. This is a fully onsite position – 5 days a week at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
-Oversee daily QA/QC operations to ensure compliance with LANL and regulatory standards
-Lead and supervise QA/QC staff, review inspections, testing results, and quality documentation
-Validate materials, components, and processes against engineering specifications and acceptance criteria
-Investigate nonconformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
-Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain audit‑ready quality records
-Partner with engineering, operations, and safety teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
-Ensure proper calibration and use of inspection and measurement equipment
-Promote a strong culture of quality, safety, and operational excellence

Required Skills & Experience
-Recent years experience holding a managerial role in construction – Quality control, construction manager, or superintendent
-Experience with documentation and reporting
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-CQM certification or other federal certifications
