Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Onsite Service Engineer to join the team of a large Semiconductor equipment manufacturer. The primary responsibility of this individual is to sustain equipment onsite at one of their client locations in Rio Rancho, NM. This will include troubleshooting vacuum pumps, abatement, gas, and chemical delivery systems, to ensure the equipment is functioning at an optimum level and any equipment failures are rectified immediately.
The ideal candidate is someone that has prior mechanical / electrical troubleshooting experience and is looking to apply that knowledge within the semiconductor industry. This apprenticeship includes both hands on training with the equipment, along with online coursework through out the duration of the role, to ensure that you're consistently growing your knowledge and improving your skills.
Additional responsibilities include:
Adhering to safety and sub fab protocols to maintain a zero-hazard environment
Maintaining punctuality and professional behavior with both peers and clients
Operation of test equipment including various test meters, hand tools, and power tools
Reviewing detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to troubleshoot equipment failures
Working collaboratively with team members, driving a positive work environment, and jumping in to assist coworkers as needed

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience troubleshooting Electrical / Mechanical systems
Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and other equipment diagrams
Strong desire to further your knowledge through hands on training and supplemental online coursework
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Prior military experience within a MOS responsible for sustaining / troubleshooting equipment
Strong understanding of electrical components including relays, controllers, fuse boxes, inverters, ect.
