Insight Global is seeking a qualified Secret Painter in support of one of are large federal clients in Albuquerque, NM. This candidate will be responsible roughing and prepping all surfaces to ensure that paint adheres to surface, masks, and covers portions of surfaces not to be painted, paints vehicle or specified portion of vehicle and may paint insignia, letters or numerals on vehicle surface using stencils. Their day to day will include but is not limited to:
Assisting with powder coating operations for the facility.
Helping with mechanical component fabrication, knowledgeable about machining, welding, design, and fabrication processes and standards.
Interfacing with Mechanical Engineers and Designers on fabrication methods and processes.
Performing manual tasks such as rust treatment, painting, material removal, metal grinding, cutting, and applying various solutions.
Works independently and as part of a team, comfortable in confined spaces and at heights.
Maintains and adheres to operational procedures and work instructions, follows work orders, and assists in preparing reports and documentation, including following test procedures and recording results.
Compensation:
$21.25/hr. to $32.00/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
